All visits are by arrangement only. We are not open to the public and cannot admit anyone who has not arranged their visit beforehand. Gift Vouchers: You can buy a visit voucher for someone else as a gift. To do this, please contact us. How to book and pay: To book and pay for visits or vouchers, please contact us. You cannot book and pay in our online store. We offer the following main types of visit: Special January wolf experience visit: For details of what this kind of visit actually is, see below. Please note that this visit will only go ahead subject to suitable weather. It may be cancelled at short notice if bad weather renders it impractical. Refund policy in the event of cancellation: If you canel more than 72 hours before the visit we will refund your payment fully or re-book you for later in the year if you like. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the visit date then we will not refund payments. If we cancel the visit then we will offer you a full refund or re-book you for another visit later in the year. Personal observation visit: You will normally be the only visitor(s) on site (although we do not guarantee this). You are welcome to take photographs and there will always be a knowledgeable members of staff available to answer as many questions as you want to ask. This kind of visit normally lasts about 1 hour. You may be able to greet our wolves through the wire although we absolutely do not guarantee this. The wolves decide whether they are in a mood to greet or not. If you have a special interest - for example, if you are studying canine behaviour or wolf biology - then please let us know. Observation visits usually take place during the working part of the day and you may get to see various activities involving the wolves. Wolf experience visit: This is a visitor-group event and includes a talk by a knowledgeable member of staff about our wolves and about conservation. We usually feed the wolves during these visits and you will have the opportunity to take photographs you probably can't anywhere else. You have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like about wolves (and dogs), what they are and what they do. Wolf-educational games are available to children that want to participate and you get a free complementary wolf-information pack Free refreshments are available and gifts and souvenirs are on sale. We do not walk the wolves during this kind of visit. (We also do a personal version of this type of visit). Wolf walk visit: We only offer a limited number of these visits per year. Please check visit dates for availability. We usually walk one or more of our wolves for anything from half an hour to an hour around the land adjacent to the site. To keep up, you will need to be fit enough to walk for about half an hour at a leisurely pace unaided (Ie. without a walking stick etc.). This is a visitor-group event and includes a talk by a knowledgeable member of staff about our wolves and about conservation. We usually feed the wolves during these visits and you will have the opportunity to take photographs you probably can't anywhere else. You have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like about wolves (and dogs), what they are and what they do. Free refreshments are available and gifts and souvenirs are on sale. Photography: Organised group sessions: These are arranged by Wild Arena with us and you should contact them for dates and prices. Individual/personal photography & Clubs: Please contact us Special interest group visits: These are popular with vet and biology student groups, dog training clubs etc. Please contact us for prices and available dates if you wish to organise this kind of visit. Commercial workshops: We host and co-facilitate workshops for various industrial, management and commercial purposes. Please contact us for prices and available dates if you wish to organise this kind of visit. Personal wolf experience visit: This is a private, pre- booked event so only you (and anyone else you bring) will be on site. You will get a talk from an experienced member of staff about our wolves and conservation and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. You will be able to greet the wolves at the fence if they are willing. You will get to feed them and see first hand where the expression wolfing it down comes from. Finally we will attempt to get the wolves to howl for you. You will get a complementary wolf-information pack & certificate of your visit. Free refreshments are available. Gifts and souvenirs will be on sale. Read a review by a customer and another review Open days: These are not specifically a visit to our wolves and usually include other attractions as well around our site. Watch our website home page for dates and details. Numbers are limited and booking priority goes to full members. Howl nights: These take place a couple of times per year at our site. Non-advertised events: We offer a number of special types of visit which are enquirer- and context- specific. These cannot be booked in advance and details are not published for general distribution. We regret that children under seven years old are not permitted to visit our site or attend our activities. Children between 7 and 14 years of age may visit our site but may not interact with our wolves.
After you have booked your visit, please READ ALL of the directions we send you THOROUGHLY or you will get LOST. Just glancing at the postcode at the top of the letter and stabbing it into your SatNav will GET YOU NOWHERE.
