A visit by Monty Sloan

On 20'th and 21'st March the Anglian Wolf Society was visited by Monty Sloan from Wolf Park, Indiana. Monty's official job title of 'Staff Photographer' at the park conceals the fact that he is one of the world's foremost authorities on wolf behaviour. On Wednesday 20'th he gave a talk and wolf-handling demonstration, with our wolves, to an invited audience and met an assortment of dog-trainers and wolf devotees, including a selection of staff from other centres. The following day he returned for a private photography session. It was a pleasure and an honour to host Monty at our site and we all hope he will return soon. Here are a few of our own pictures of the events. At the bottom of the page is a rather special picture.
